Scott here again.. (^Obsidian-Fox) There are two dates which everyone seems happiest with. The only problem, but i think its actually a good thing, is that the later date is also an anime convention and comic thing that weekend too..

So the dates are August 9th, or August 23rd..

Im going to start planning at the beginning of next week, so voice your concerns here, and I will do my best to accommodate them!

Aah! I can't get there on the 9th. :( (I could change my travel date to be there on the 23rd though)

i think i am going camping on the 23rd, so the 9th would work better for me...assuming i can manage to afford to come over for even a night!

The 9th is moreso in the middle of summer, we have had success with devMeets in early or late July , so I would assume late August would be too close to Labour Day and the return of school for the younger members.

The 9th definitely works better for me, as I've said that the convention is during the weekend of the 23rd.

23rd would be MUCH better because all the anime evolution people will be here, and the 9th is just way too soon without more details.

well if it's the 23rd, a bunch of us who are staying in vancouver for a week will be there and can possibly attend (it depends on how close it is to the con, since we're there for anime evolution)
